Up West Equestrian Center

Up West Equestrian Center is a premium stable located in Western Prince Edward Island, offering professional boarding, riding lessons, and coaching in dressage and hunter jumper disciplines. Whether you’re a beginner or a competitive rider, the facility provides a welcoming and well-maintained environment to grow your skills and connect with horses.

Led by Dawn Helm, an NCCP and Equestrian Canada Certified Competition Coach Specialist in Dressage, the centre is open from April to December and caters to both recreational riders and those training for competition. Unique to the region, vacation packages for horses and riders are also available—perfect for equestrians looking to combine travel with training on the Island.

Land Acknowledgement

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
