How to Open and Operate a Bed & Breakfast on PEI

Thinking about opening a B&B?

More walkers and cyclists are coming to PEI for the Island Walk every year, and parts of the route need more places to stay.

Join us for a free workshop on opening and running a B&B, with current and former operators, Tourism PEI, and PEI Mutual Insurance.

Areas with the biggest need include waypoints #1 Dunedin, #3 Borden-Carleton, #5 Wellington, #6 McNeills Mills, #7 Miminegash, #12 Portage, #13 Northam, #25 Howe Bay, #28 Gaspereaux, #30 Surrey, and #31 Lake Verde. Explore the map here

Old Schoolhouse, Victoria-by-the-Sea

Friday, November 27, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm

Snacks and lunch provided

Free, but please register by November 23 by emailing: [email protected]

Land Acknowledgement

In the spirit of Reconciliation, we acknowledge that the land upon which we gather is unceded Mi’kmaq territory. Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), Mi’kma’ki, is covered by the historic Treaties of Peace and Friendship. We pay our respects to the Indigenous Mi’kmaq People who have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years; past, present and future.
