Footprints Retreat

In 2025, we opened an Island Walkers’ Retreat called “Footprints.”

Fall 2026… Please ensure to book in advance, as we accept reservations from September 7th to October 31st. If booked over our Thanksgiving weekend, we will be offering a holiday dinner!

All walking packages include: a full hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, Netflix, & Hot tub. Available laundry room with pods and dryer sheets. 

Promotions: Solo travelers can enjoy a $10.00 discount per night when booking a room for single occupancy.

If you reserve both walking packages to and from Tignish, a 10% discount on the price of transportation rates.

Wellness: After a long day of walking or hiking, treat yourself to our 6-person Hydro-Pool Signature Hot Tub, which features Thermal Shield Insulation Technology, Zone Therapy, and Wellness.

We offer two 3-night packages with double occupancy, designed for those seeking both adventure and absolute comfort. Each walking package includes well-appointed accommodations, nutritious home-cooked meals, and comprehensive transportation services.

PACKAGE 1: Waypoints 5, 6 & 7
3-Night Getaway to Tignish
Room Rate: $585.00 + HST (double occupancy)  

Day 1 – Waypoint 5: Wellington

  • Pickup: 3:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Dinner: First “In-House” dinner served at 5:30 PM.
  • Menu: Salad, healthy stew, fresh bread, dessert, coffee, or tea.
  • Drop-off: 8:00 to 9:00 AM

Day 2 – Waypoint 6: McNeill Mills

  • Pickup: 3:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Dinner: Second “In-House” dinner served at 5:30 PM.
  • Menu: Salad, spaghetti & meatballs, garlic bread, dessert, coffee, or tea.
  • Drop-off: 8:00 to 9:00 AM

Day 3 – Waypoint 7: O’Leary

  • Pickup: 3:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Dinner: Third “In-House” dinner served at 5:30 PM.
    Menu: Salad, buttered chicken, basmati rice, dessert, coffee, or tea.
  • Morning Drop-off: 9:00 AM at O’Leary Confederation Trail before you set off on your next adventure.

Dinner & Packed Lunch Rates:

  • Healthy packed lunches are $15.00 per day, per person.
  • Healthy homemade dinners are $30.00 per day, per person.

Transportation Rates:

  • Transportation with luggage transfers: $395 
  • Backpacker rate (no luggage transfers): $275

Note: Transportation covers travel to and from waypoints, including luggage transfers coming from Summerside and outgoing from O’Leary to either Alberton or Tignish. The transportation rate is applicable for guests sharing the transportation at the time of booking, accommodating 1 to 4 persons.

PACKAGE 2: Waypoints 12, 13 & 14
3-Night Adventure Returning from Tignish
Room Rate: $585.00 + HST for double occupancy

Day 1 – Waypoint 12 Portage

  • Pickup: 3:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Dinner: first “In-House” dinner served at 5:30 PM 
  • Menu: Salad, grilled chops, green vegetables, baby potatoes, dessert, coffee, or tea
  • Drop-off: 8:00 to 9:00 AM

Day 2 – Waypoint 13 Northam

  • Pickup: 3:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Second “In-House” dinner served at 5:30 PM 
  • Menu: Salad, grilled salmon with dill and lemon, potatoes, dessert, coffee, or tea
  • Drop-off: 8:00 to 9:00 AM
  • Day 3 – Waypoint 14 Miscouche
  • Pickup: 3:00 to 4:00 PM
  • Third “In-House” dinner served at 5:30 PM 
  • Menu: Salad, delicious lasagna, garlic bread, dessert, coffee, or tea
  • Morning Drop-off: 9:00 AM at Miscouche Confederation Trail before setting off on your next adventure.

Dinner & Packed Lunch Rates:

  • Healthy packed lunches are $15.00 per day, per person.
  • Healthy homemade dinners are $30.00 per day, per person.

  • Every bedroom is equipped with a 43-inch TV.
  • Main floor laundry includes soaps and dryer sheets. Included
  • The Hydro Pool Hot Tub is available at your convenience, anytime.
  • Our outdoor area offers ample seating, complete with a screened-in porch.
  • Take a beach chair, dip your feet in the ocean; the salt water is ideal for healing.
