7 DAY / 6-NIGHT TIP TO TIP SOUTH ~ Learn more
This trip follows the Island Walk route, with the Island’s prevailing southwesterly winds in mind. But the current signage was only designed for those following the path in a clockwise direction from waypoint #32 (Charlottetown) to 1 (Dunedin) and 2 (Victoria) and so forth. So while the routes & stops will be equally beautiful and enjoyable, you’ll only fully benefit from the existing Island Walk signage direction from waypoints #12-14 (Portage to Miscouche), and 19-22 (Mt. Stewart to Elmira).
8 DAY 7-NIGHT TIP TO TIP NORTH ~ Learn more
9 DAY 8-NIGHT EASTERN LOOP ~ Learn more
This trip follows the Island Walk route in a counterclockwise direction, with the Island’s prevailing southwesterly winds in mind (we know headwinds matter to cyclists!). We also wanted to take maximum advantage of our existing Eastern PEI luggage transfer direction (southeast >northeast >Charlottetown), to minimize our/your carbon footprint by combining as many stops as possible. But the current Island Walk signage was only designed for those following the path in a clockwise direction from waypoint #32 (Charlottetown) to 1 (Dunedin) and 2 (Victoria) and so forth. So while the routes & stops will be equally beautiful and enjoyable, you’ll not necessarily fully benefit from the existing Island Walk signage direction.
If purchasing this trip WITHOUT luggage transfers, and prefer to travel in a clockwise direction for the signage, there’s no issue on our end to set it up inversely.
