Our Beautiful PEI Dunes. Your footsteps count.

Did you know that our beautiful dunes protect Prince Edward Island from erosion and flooding?

In collaboration with Island Nature Trust and Nature Conservancy of Canada, Parks Canada is encouraging visitors to stay off the dunes as they continue to recover from the effects of Hurricane Fiona. It is vitally important for all of us to continue to protect the Island’s natural resources and coastal areas. So we are asking everyone to please stay off the dunes.

Thank you so much from all of us at The Island Walk.
