Cycling the Island Walk in June

Number of days: 10

Fantastic Stop Overs:

1. La Petite France

An absolute deal financially- a bonus for all travellers! Plus interesting Victorian house adapted for B&B guests, crisp cotton sheets and a delicious and authentic petite dejeuner (French breakfast). Such a treat when you are on the road!

2. Tracadie Cross Cabins

The cabins adjoin the Confederation Trail. Such a bonus when you have no energy left at the end of the day’s ride/walk to get to your accommodation. 4 separate cabins, 2 shared bathroom cabins. Good coffee and sleeps 5.

3. Shanty Stay Cabins

A community of distinctive hand crafted, self-contained cabins in Souris. Easily accessible to everything in town. Kim, the owner is lovely and accommodating.

Thank you to Kelly at Tourism PEI, the creator Bryson Guptill and everyone who produced the maps and directions for the Island Walk. I also want to recognize the PEI drivers who slowed and moved to the other side of the road. I never felt unsafe.

Happy Summer!
